CloudPixel Games Limited - Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 25, 2024
Last Updated: June 25, 2025
CloudPixel Games Limited ("CloudPixel Games," "CloudPixel," "we," "us," or "our") develops and publishes casual puzzle mobile games for players worldwide, with primary markets in Europe and the United States. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal data when you use our mobile games, websites, advertisements, customer-support channels, community features, and other products or services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Services").
"Personal data" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked with an individual or household. It does not include information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it can no longer reasonably identify you.
Please read this Privacy Policy before using the Services. Where applicable law requires consent, we will ask for it separately. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to employment candidates, employees, or information collected in an offline employment context.
1. Scope and Data Controller
CloudPixel Games Limited is the controller of personal data covered by this Privacy Policy, unless a particular Service or notice identifies a different controller. This Privacy Policy applies worldwide, subject to any additional rights and requirements under the laws of your location.
The Services may be distributed through third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store and Google Play. Those platforms process certain information under their own privacy policies and may act as independent controllers for their processing activities.
2. Personal Data We Collect
The data we collect depends on the Service you use, the features you choose, your device settings, your location, and applicable law. We may collect the following categories.
2.1 Data You Provide to Us
Account and contact data. Your display name, username, player identifier, email address, country or region, profile image, authentication information, and other details you choose to add to a profile.
Communications and support data. The content of messages you send to us, your contact details, support-ticket history, attachments, device or account information supplied for troubleshooting, and your feedback, survey responses, or reviews.
User-generated and community content. Messages, team or forum posts, profile content, images, files, contest entries, and other content you choose to create, upload, publish, or transmit through the Services.
Promotion and event data. Information you provide when entering a contest, sweepstakes, survey, playtest, or promotional event, including contact and prize-delivery details when needed.
Parental authorization data. If we offer an age-assurance, parental consent, or parental-control feature, we may collect a parent's or guardian's contact information, confirmation of adult status, consent records, and a control PIN or similar credential.
2.2 Data Collected Automatically
Device and network data. IP address, device type and model, operating system and version, language, time zone, mobile carrier, browser type, screen settings, app version, device and app identifiers, vendor identifier, Game Center or similar platform identifier, and advertising identifiers such as IDFA or GAID where available and permitted.
Gameplay and usage data. Player ID, session dates and duration, game progress, level, scores, achievements, virtual items, in-game actions, preferences, team participation, feature usage, clicks, page views, referral URLs, and interactions with our Services and advertisements.
Diagnostics and performance data. Crash logs, error reports, loading time, latency, frame rate, battery and memory usage, network quality, and other technical information about how the Services perform on your device.
Purchase and commercial data. Products or virtual items viewed or purchased, purchase date, transaction identifier, price, currency, and purchase status. We do not receive your complete payment-card or bank-account number from an app store or payment processor.
Advertising and measurement data. Advertisements shown, placement, viewing duration, clicks, conversions, attribution data, campaign source, frequency, and inferred interests or preferences. Subject to your settings and applicable law, advertising partners may use identifiers to recognize a device across apps or services.
Approximate location. We may infer your country, region, or city from your IP address. We do not intentionally collect precise GPS location unless a particular feature clearly requests your permission.
We and our partners may collect this information through server logs, cookies, local storage, pixels, software development kits ("SDKs"), APIs, and similar technologies.
2.3 Data We Receive from Third Parties
App stores and payment platforms. We may receive your platform user ID, country or region, transaction status, purchase history, and information needed to deliver a purchase, prevent fraud, or provide support.
Sign-in and connected services. If you sign in with Apple, Google, Facebook, Game Center, or another service, we may receive the information you authorize that service to share, such as a user ID, name, email address, profile image, and information about friends who also use the same game. What we receive depends on the provider's policy and your settings.
Analytics and advertising partners. We may receive device identifiers, campaign and attribution data, advertising interactions, inferred interests, and aggregated or device-level performance information from analytics, advertising, and measurement providers.
Other sources. We may receive personal data from public sources, business partners acting with your authorization, anti-fraud providers, or as part of a corporate transaction.
2.4 Whether You Must Provide Personal Data
Information identified as optional does not have to be provided. However, certain data is necessary to enter into or perform our agreement with you, comply with law, secure the Services, or provide a feature you request. If you do not provide required account, transaction, device, age-assurance, or support information, we may be unable to create or maintain an account, complete a purchase, provide the relevant feature, verify eligibility, or respond to a request. Some technical data is generated automatically when an online Service is used and cannot be disabled without stopping use of that Service.
3. How We Use Personal Data
We may use personal data to:
Provide the Services. Create and manage player profiles; authenticate access; save and synchronize progress; enable gameplay, social, team, messaging, contest, leaderboard, and community features; deliver virtual items; and process or verify transactions.
Personalize the experience. Remember settings, recommend content, adapt difficulty and features, present relevant events and offers, and customize gameplay based on activity and preferences.
Support users. Respond to questions, investigate technical issues, restore purchases or progress where possible, and communicate about accounts, transactions, updates, security, or changes to the Services.
Maintain safety and integrity. Detect, investigate, and prevent cheating, fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, security incidents, harmful conduct, and violations of our terms or policies; protect users, CloudPixel Games, and others.
Develop and improve. Analyze performance and usage, test features, fix errors, conduct research, understand player trends, measure engagement, and improve the design, quality, accessibility, and commercial performance of the Services.
Market and advertise. Promote our Services, send marketing communications where permitted, measure campaign effectiveness, limit how often ads are shown, and—with consent or another valid basis where required—provide or facilitate personalized advertising.
Comply with law and operate our business. Meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory duties; respond to lawful requests; establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; enforce agreements; conduct audits; and evaluate or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, research, product development, and other lawful business purposes. We will not attempt to re-identify data that we maintain as de-identified, except to test whether our de-identification measures are effective or as otherwise permitted by law.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires us to identify a legal basis, we process personal data on one or more of the following bases:
Performance of a contract. Processing needed to provide the Services you request, maintain your profile, save progress, deliver purchases, and provide support.
Legitimate interests. Processing needed to operate and improve the Services, understand performance, secure our systems, prevent fraud and abuse, communicate with users, and conduct ordinary business activities, where those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
Consent. Processing based on your permission, including certain uses of device permissions, personalized advertising, cookies, or marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
Legal obligation and protection of rights. Processing needed to comply with law, respond to binding legal process, keep required records, protect vital interests, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
5. How We Disclose Personal Data
We may disclose personal data to the following recipients:
Service providers. Hosting, cloud, database, customer-support, security, anti-fraud, communications, localization, analytics, attribution, quality-assurance, and other vendors that process data for us. We require service providers to protect personal data and use it only as authorized by contract and law.
Platform and payment providers. App stores, operating-system providers, authentication providers, and payment processors where necessary to distribute the Services, complete or verify transactions, restore purchases, or maintain platform features.
Advertising and measurement partners. Subject to applicable law and your choices, we may disclose device identifiers, purchase events, usage data, advertising interactions, approximate location, and inferred interests to provide, measure, attribute, or personalize advertising.
Other users and the public. If you use social or public features, other users may see information such as your player name, avatar, team membership, scores, achievements, gifts, leaderboard position, and content you post. Please do not publish information that you want to keep private.
Professional advisers and authorities. Lawyers, auditors, insurers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement agencies, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate misconduct, or defend legal claims.
Corporate transaction recipients. Actual or prospective purchasers, investors, lenders, advisers, and successors in connection with due diligence, financing, reorganization, merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or a sale or transfer of some or all of our business or assets. A successor will be required to handle personal data consistently with applicable law.
With your direction or consent. We may disclose information to another party when you direct us to do so or give valid consent.
6. Advertising, Cookies, SDKs, and Similar Technologies
Our websites and games may use cookies, pixels, local storage, SDKs, and similar technologies for strictly necessary operations, preferences and functionality, analytics and performance, attribution, fraud prevention, and advertising. Some technologies are provided by third parties and may recognize your device over time or across services.
Where required, we will ask for consent before using non-essential technologies or allowing tracking for personalized advertising. You may adjust choices through an available in-game privacy or consent setting, your device privacy and advertising settings, or a website cookie-control tool where one is made available. You can also reset or restrict use of your mobile advertising identifier. Opting out does not necessarily remove all ads; it generally means that ads will be less personalized.
We do not sell personal data for money. However, disclosures to certain advertising and measurement partners may be treated as a "sale," "sharing," or use for "targeted advertising" under some privacy laws. Where those laws apply, you may opt out as described in Sections 9 and 10. Where technically supported and legally required, we will process a browser-based Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request for that browser.
Browser "Do Not Track" signals are not interpreted consistently across the industry. Except for legally recognized signals such as Global Privacy Control, our Services may not respond to them.
7. Purchases and Payment Processing
Purchases are generally processed by third parties such as Apple or Google. Those providers may collect your name, billing address, payment-card or bank information, and other data required to process payment under their own privacy policies. CloudPixel Games generally receives transaction metadata—such as the item, time, amount, currency, transaction ID, and status—but not your full payment-card or bank-account details.
8. Social Features and Third-Party Services
The Services may include chat, teams, leaderboards, competitions, social-media buttons, or links to third-party websites and services. Information you make public or disclose to other users can be copied, used, or further disclosed by those users. Please use care when sharing information.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Except where law provides otherwise, CloudPixel Games is not responsible for a third party's independent privacy or security practices. We encourage you to review the relevant policy before connecting an account or providing personal data.
9. Your Privacy Controls
Sale, sharing, and targeted-advertising opt-out. Where applicable, use the privacy or consent controls made available in the relevant game. You may also email cloudpixelgame@outlook.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" and include the game name and player ID, if available. We will treat a legally recognized Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request for the browser or device from which it is received where technically supported and required by law.
Account deletion. Where an in-game deletion feature is available, follow the instructions in the game's settings or privacy menu. You may also request deletion by contacting us as described in Section 17. Deleting an account may permanently remove game progress and unused virtual items, and those items may not be recoverable. We may retain limited information where required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements.
Device permissions. You can review or change permissions through your device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent a related feature from working.
Push notifications and marketing. You can disable push notifications in your device settings. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in the message or by contacting us. We may still send non-promotional service, security, support, or transaction communications.
Personalized advertising. Use an available in-game privacy setting, consent screen, or device advertising setting to withdraw consent or opt out. You may also reset your advertising identifier. Choices may need to be set separately on each device, game, browser, or account.
Uninstalling. Uninstalling a game stops that game from collecting new data from the device, but does not delete data already collected. Use the account-deletion method or contact us if you want to request deletion of existing data.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to or a copy of your personal data; correct inaccurate data; delete data; restrict or object to processing; receive portable data; withdraw consent; opt out of targeted advertising or certain transfers characterized as a sale or sharing; and appeal a decision on a privacy request. You may also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a privacy right.
To exercise a right, use an available in-game request tool or email cloudpixelgame@outlook.com. Please identify the game or Service, provide your player ID if available, specify your request, and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant account. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity and authority. We will use verification information only for verification and fraud-prevention purposes.
You may use an authorized agent where applicable law permits. We may require proof of the agent's authority and may still need to verify your identity directly. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. Rights are subject to legal exceptions, including where disclosure would adversely affect another person's rights, compromise security, reveal legally privileged information, or conflict with a retention duty.
10.1 EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have the rights described above under applicable data-protection law. You may lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority in the country where you live or work or where you believe a violation occurred. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.
10.2 United States State Privacy Disclosures
During the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the categories described in Section 2, including identifiers; customer-record and contact information; commercial information; internet, network, and gameplay activity; approximate geolocation; audio, visual, or electronic content you submit; and inferences. We collect these categories from you, automatically from your device, and from the sources described in Section 2.3. We use them for the purposes in Section 3 and disclose them to the recipient categories in Section 5. We retain them according to Section 12.
During the preceding 12 months, we may have disclosed each of those categories to service providers, platforms, professional advisers, authorities, or corporate transaction recipients for the business purposes described in Sections 3 and 5. Subject to your settings and applicable law, we may also have sold or shared—within the meaning assigned by certain United States state privacy laws—identifiers, commercial information, internet or gameplay activity, approximate geolocation, advertising interactions, and inferences with advertising and measurement partners for targeted advertising, attribution, analytics, frequency control, and campaign measurement. We do not sell personal data for money.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal data of consumers under 16 for targeted advertising. We do not intentionally collect government identifiers, account passwords, precise geolocation, biometric identifiers, health information, or other sensitive personal data for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you. If a Service needs sensitive data for a specific feature, we will provide an appropriate notice and choice.
Residents of states that provide additional rights—including California—may request to know, access, correct, or delete personal data and may opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising as applicable. California residents may also request information about categories of personal data collected, sources, purposes, and recipient categories. We do not disclose traditional contact information to third parties for their own direct marketing in a manner that triggers California's "Shine the Light" disclosure requirement.
10.3 Other Jurisdictions
Residents of Hong Kong, Brazil, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Türkiye, and other jurisdictions may have additional rights under local law, including rights of access, correction, deletion, objection, complaint, or consent withdrawal. Contact us to exercise an applicable right. You may also contact the privacy or data-protection regulator in your jurisdiction.
11. Children's Privacy
Our casual puzzle games may appeal to players of different ages, but our Services are intended for a general audience unless a particular Service expressly states otherwise. We assess the intended and actual audience of each Service using the factors required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Where local law sets a higher age for valid consent to online data processing, we apply that higher age as required. An app store's content age rating describes content suitability and does not replace these privacy requirements.
Users who are under the age of legal majority where they live should review this Privacy Policy with a parent or legal guardian and obtain permission before using social features, making purchases, or providing personal data. If we learn that we collected a child's personal data without the authorization required by law, we will delete or otherwise handle it as required.
If a Service is directed to children, is operated as a mixed-audience Service, or we have actual knowledge that a user is a child, we will apply the age-screening, data-minimization, parental notice and consent, parental access and deletion, retention, security, and advertising restrictions required by applicable law. We will not use or disclose a child's personal data for targeted advertising without any separate verifiable parental consent required by law.
A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal data without the required consent should contact cloudpixelgame@outlook.com and include the name of the game and the child's player ID, if available.
12. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including while you maintain an account or use the Services, and as needed to comply with legal, tax, accounting, reporting, security, anti-fraud, dispute resolution, and enforcement obligations.
Retention periods vary based on the type and sensitivity of the data, the nature of the Service, the risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, whether the purpose can be achieved by other means, and applicable legal requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, or securely isolate it. Residual copies may remain for a limited time in protected backups. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained where it no longer identifies you.
13. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, organizational, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data, which may include access controls, encryption, monitoring, secure development practices, incident-response procedures, and contractual protections for service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a personal-data breach occurs, we will investigate and provide notice to affected users and authorities where required by law. You are responsible for protecting account credentials and should contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
14. International Data Transfers
CloudPixel Games is based in Hong Kong, and we and our service providers may process personal data in Hong Kong, the United States, the European Economic Area, and other countries where we or they operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws where you live.
Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, contractual and technical protections, or your explicit consent. You may contact us for more information about safeguards relevant to your personal data.
15. Third-Party Links and Independent Processing
The Services may link to websites, applications, advertisements, stores, or services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not govern an independent third party's processing. Review that party's privacy policy before providing information or using its service.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Services, our data practices, or applicable law. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required, such as an in-game notice, prominent website notice, push notification, or email. If consent is required for a new processing purpose, we will request it before that processing begins.
